I am trying to install CU4 for SQL 2014 SP1 on 4 separate 2 node clusters. on one cluster set, the first node installed fine. The 2nd node has a setup error:

TITLE: SQL Server Setup failure.
------------------------------

SQL Server Setup has encountered the following error:

Failed to retrieve data for this request..

I have looked at the bootstrap/log/detail file and find:

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Sdk.Sfc.EnumeratorException: Failed to retrieve data for this request. ---> Microsoft.SqlServer.Configuration.Sco.SqlRegistryException: The network path was not found.

at Microsoft.SqlServer.Configuration.Sco.SqlRegistry.CreateBaseKey(ServiceContainer ctx, String machineName, IntPtr hKey, String keyName, RegistryAccess access, RegistryView view)
at Microsoft.SqlServer.Configuration.Sco.SqlRegistry.GetLocalMachine(ServiceContainer ctx, String machineName, RegistryAccess access, RegistryView view)

at Microsoft.SqlServer.Discovery.DiscoveryEnumObject.LoadSql2kInstanceList(String machineName)
at Microsoft.SqlServer.Discovery.Product.GetData(EnumResult erParent)
...
---------------------------------------------------------------------

I have tried:
1) modify registry permission for LOCAL\software\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server to allow full control to ALL APLICATION PACKAGES
2) reboot server(s) both one after the other
3) try with SQL services on opposite node, current node, and turned off.

No joy. If ANYONE has a solution to this it will be greatly appreciated. My only other option is to try to uninstall SQL and reinstall, hoping that may help.
Thank You
