Windows311, Win95, and Win98 can all use APPSTART.EXE to fix just what you are asking about. This is a sample of how I use it:

C:\WINDOWS\Appstart.exe /s:~:\\SRV01\epic /p:1 \\srv01\epic\epic.exe
\_____________________/ \_______________/ \__/ \___________________/
Appstart.exe location Set default path Assign FoxPro program
to your server next to start.
name and share available
directory. drive letter
and then
delete it
when you
exit the
program.

Do "NOT" put drive letters or UNC codes in your program. Appstart will assign the next available drive letter to your share area on the network and make that the default so when your program starts, it will look for the files on the server. This works great and it doesn't matter what drive letter the program give it. It also removes the share and drive letter when you exit the program. A great help to me for many years.
If you want more info, call me at (360) 956-2027, Olympia, Washington State.
