Tables are not locked. But keep in mind that the ODBC driver has not been updated since VFP 6. This means if you use datatypes or features added after then, ODBC will not work.

I have some reports that use both solutions.....Some tables are opened via ODBC and others in OLEDB.....Apparently no problems, but i have a doubt.....When i use tables with OLEDB can i have problems in sharing the tables that i'm using in the reports..are they normally shared or they are locked while crystal reports use them ? I think not, but i ask someone to confirm this.
