That's a nice example of a cover up.
It says the original author was a fool (no doubt on that, 192.168.1.* rofl) It also says he could have done better settings then average user - the one the test might have simulated. Possibly there was a reason? The article makes it laughable that the author says he need to run throug three pages of switches - what's not true on it? Why they are scattered like that?

But why MS allows itself to do the Teredo without permission (and why I need MS to do that at all, I would prefer something I choose?) and what it hides in the https it tries to do was perfectly washed over.

It also discredits better done non professional work.

Amateuer comes from amare, loving. Somebody who does something he loves. In opposition to a professional, that's somebody who gets paid for.

Conclusion: Author has done nonsense, it's bogus, but 80% failure does not mean the other 20% are not true. That's no proof MS is not spying.
