>Is there any possibility of doing actions that will improve the performance on writes? I understand the writing procedure from SQL Server would take more time than regular SQL select and that indexes are a factor, but if there is something I am missing, I would like to know about it.
Are you using SSD disks, or an SSD caching controller for the disks?
I have recently set up some older servers with LSI9260-8i controllers with cachecade 2.0 enabled and SSD disks dedicated to the controller for cachecade.
I did not do any scientific comparisons, but it seems like they are 5x to 25x faster depending on what they are doing.
