0-are you always running your app as administrator (that can hide some things)?
1-check the Recycle bin if there
2-folder pointed was dragged and dropped wrongly.
go to hierarchy disc top and search in explorer.its performent to find it.
3-run Windows Explorer:
go to Folder Options
click folder options +go to tab2 (display)
Under Hidden files and folders click in the circle next to "Show hidden files, folders, and drives"
If the files are just hidden and not deleted you should see them.
If they are hidden there is a way to unhide them.

4-apply windows restore to last good date ago

at the end make a saved copy somewhere for the future (if important datas)
