Interesting. I've had pretty good regard for Ed Bott in the past but that article is *far* below his usual standards.

Rather than snarkily commenting on the original report, he could set up his own VM in a "non-amateur" fashion, perform his own analysis, and post both that and his raw data.

Bott's post is itself amateurish and IMO only a couple of notches above click bait.
