In FF on my system, I can put the mouse pointer on the UT toolbar, press and hold the Ctrl key, then mousewheel up/down to make the font size change. It looks correct (centered vertically) at all sizes, not clipped at the top like Lutz's example.
I suspect Lutz may be using large fonts in Windows itself.
Lutz, as a lark I set my toolbar colour to hot yellow but after using it like that for a while, I really like it (see image). In the past I did get confused between UT toolbar and other browser controls, but not any longer ;)
