>There used to be an ability to go to person's messages/solutions. Also there was a Calendar button.

When you click on a person name, you access their profile. From there, simply click on "View messages".

The Calendar is moved under Search. It is the 3rd pane.

Your solution is only one click away by clicking on "Account\Your solutions".
