Yes that's right. If you google search you'll find different info on which ports to actually use too - these are the ones I use in outlook with gmail and it works

One thing that I know for sure that works is this:

I've used it before to connect to email servers that used different ports or SSL and it always worked...but sadly it's not freeware and its not cheap either. Only reason I was using it was because they already had a license for it.
