You will not find a better editor for VFP programs, as far as you want to maintain this benefits:

- Automatic code compilation when saving, for knowing errors before executing the code
- Intellisense, for knowing the name and type of the parameters of the methods, commands or functions (even your own ones)
- IDE integration
- Beautify tool for enhancing readability of the code
- Document Viewer, for going to une method to another quickly in a PRG
- More...

If you don't want any of this, then you are wasting valuable time and should learn how to benefit from them.
