Hi Vlad - The main reason for your solution, of course, is grid columns, where no other solution works. My rationale here is that once I've set up your solution in a generic way, it's easier to use this method for almost everything, rather than change individual controls using the vfp method...the only one case, as I say, where a user may get stuck with the wrong cursor outside vfp app is when doing an Alt-Tab to move between apps. Maybe I've been lucky, but we have no reports of this after about 6 months of regular use of the application which uses your solution...
