I was (and still am) a big fan of Bonnie's. Her integrity was perfect - she would never jump in on a topic unless she was sure of the answer. She answered a ton of .NET and some SQL questions up here. (By contrast, there's a great deal of shoddy commentary in this particular thread, especially about the MVP program).
If I were to give an award for the most no-nonsense, common-sense developer I've ever met, it would be Bonnie.
There are still online debates and Q&As about EF versus Typed Datasets. Both have their place. I've seen EF abused and I've certainly seen typed datasets abused.
