Sorry Naomi - no - I want to know if there is a way to preserve the cursor temporarily. Say the user does a search, and makes a choice in the grid out of that cursor - it takes them to the main editing page. There they decide it wasn't the right one, and want to go back to the choices. I want that cursor still available, so I can reload the search page, and repopulate the grid so they can check another one - all without having to get them to search all over again... When they have found the right ticket, and have worked on it, they will once again come back to the search form, where they will click the 'exit' button, as they have finished 'searching', and then when that form closes, then the cursor will also be closed/released/deleted...
