But if I need to troubleshoot a certain case (maybe a bug maybe not, no error message) I could put ASSERT(s) into the application and run the .EXE from the IDE and get some values or some messages. And these ASSERT(s) would be ignored in all the cases where the EXE runs not from IDE. Does it make sense?
