>This seems to be a no-brainer to me.
>Apple should unlock the phone, give the information to the FBI, and not tell anyone how they did it.
>What harm would that do?
I'm in a strange debate right now with a member of my family who is very liberal and a big supporter of the current administration. The family member is 100% behind Apple.
Of course, you know my views - and yet I'm 100% behind the DOJ/FBI and am not sympathetic to Apple's pretty flawed explanations (which are little more than pandering to their base, and smack of a "beside I said so" mindset).
At the risk of turning this debate into something else, I strongly wonder if Apple's position would be the same, had the San B incident involved domestic terrorists.
