A stupid question -- Did you look through the entire list to make sure the missing font isn't listed in a different place than expected (usually alphabetic) ? I'd seen an occasion where the name of the font contained a character that caused it to be listed in a different location than expected.

Another thing to check -- if you look at the property sheet for the TTF file (since you mention that you downloaded it) on the General page (where the DOS-style file attributes show), is there an "Unblock" button?
