Let me ask you something. I'm not even going to go into the flaws of the deal (which are numerous). Going to ask a more basic question.

Late in the Bush presidency, and then early in the Obama presidency, many Republicans expressed strong concern that Iran was just a few years away from nuclear weaponry. At that time, many Democrats brushed off that kind of talking as hawkish war-mongering, and also reminded the country about the Bush error regarding Iraq and WMDs. Essentially, they thought the Republicans were overstating Iran's threat.

Fast-forward to the last two years - Obama and those Dems who support the Iran deal keep talking about how we need this deal, "because Iran is so close to getting a weapon"

You can probably guess my next question. What happened in between? What happened to that warning from the Rs, which so many Ds dismissed at the time???
