>>Re Trump: so he follows Phineas T. Barnum's dictum that "there's no such thing as bad publicity." We all yearn for easy answers to complex questions,so people cheer when someone says the cure for cancer is simple - it's candy corn! Yay, I love candy corn! You're gonna get my vote!

>>BUT - imagine a Donald surrounded by really good advisors who he picked and listens to. You don't get to do as well in business without being smart yourself, or knowing where and how to find people smarter than you. Could do OK. As long as you don't mind the occasional egged ayatollah or nukes used to emblazon his face on the moon. ;-)

I like Bernie better than anyone else right now too. Not so sure I would want Trump if Bernie was out though. While Trump might be more 'manageable', he still has a mouth on him and says too much stupid and insulting things. My concern is that our international relations would suffer badly because this. The world is not as small of a place as it used to be - and you can't be an isolated country and be prosperous in this day and age. Especially the USA, a country built on people coming here from other places.
