If chips seem to fall in that direction, layabouts will be given enough "luxury" that their birth rate dwindles.In the long run a machine supervision seems probable, only uncertain if it will realize itself in pure Skynet fashion or more along I,Robot lines (thinking more about the Asimov texts than of the movie)
