>>>Nothing compared to what Obama has dealt with. Those who don't think that part of the problems he's encountered are due to his race are the same people who think racism doesn't exist anymore - which by the way is what the GOP thinks.
>>>
>>>How do you know what every member of the GOP thinks? Have you talked to all of them? Or are you clairvoyant? Blanket statements like that demonstrate a lot of prejudice and a lack of intelligence.
>>>
>>>Lets not forget all the redistricting and all the new voter laws that have been done in an attempt to prevent people from voting - mostly effecting minorities and others that would vote democratic.
>>>
>>>Oh, you mean like voter ID to keep illegal immigrants from voting? You need an ID to get on an airplane or buy a pack of cigarettes or a beer. What is wrong with requiring one to vote? Oh, wait! In some states, the illegal immigrants can now get drivers' licenses. I bet the left is happy about that...

>>Ok - there is no real voter fraud - this is a well known fact that has been investigated by many.

>>31 credible incidents out of one billion ballots cast. So sure it 'exists' - but 31 out of 1 billion is basically nothing. There is NO WAY any reasonable person could come to any other conclusion that the GOP's voter laws, redistricting, closing of voting locations, having them moved to places people can get to is nothing other than the GOP rigging the system so that poor people, old people, and people that are not white are not able to vote.
>>As I keep saying - the GOP is using unfounded fears of something that doesn't exist, lies, and taking advantage of the naive and gullible to trick them into seeing something that simply is not there. Plus...seeing how this crap effects mostly the black and latino voters there should be no question that this is a racist action.
>>Surely you can see this yes?

>To me the Union Jack and the ongoing and sometimes deadly violence of cops against blacks are most telling. In some regions, civilization is only getting out of 19th century thinking in a very slow pace.

Right. Then you hear slogans like "Let's make America great again". Uhhh great again WHEN? If you're a black person I'm not so sure that you'd want America great like it was prior to to the 1960's civil rights movements..and sure as hell wouldn't want it great again like it was prior to 1865. But this 'lets put things back the way they were before' and 'lets not do anything new' is one of the republican platforms. Want abortion? Nope. Want rights for gay people? Nope. Want black people to vote? Nope. Want some heathcare for food or housing for the poor? Nope. Want to some some grass? Nope Now they will admit to being against the LGBT's and the abortions and some of the other things - but will deny they're against minorities and the poor despite all the actions that they do which prove otherwise. I just don't think the GOP party is real interested in changing with the times or being progressive - they just wish it was still 1950 and kinda act like it too.
