macromax is shipped as an installable program (more 2Mo) and under licence ? right.i dont know if there is a downloadable ocx.
is there PEM to work from VFP with this registrable OCX ?
visual foxpro have scctext.prg as converter (Visual FoxPro binary files into text equivalents and back).this last have 60 ko but its some limited.
assuming working at design time:
how do you edit a vcx/vct for ex ? do you convert it to prg or do you use scctext.prg? this method have some bug particulary with containers.
how do you edit a form , a menu (mnx to mpr?)? same question.
it seems to be a hard work to make this tool as a reliable vfp editor?

can we say notepad++ makes a workable vfp editor with these conversions and how?
