And firebug for those cases when they won't show the content until you go through some modal thing covering it, which won't go away unless you go through the steps it wants (answer the questions or whatever) - which I won't, because noScript has disabled the stuff. Simply select to view in Firebug, press Delete and the whole covering vanishes :).
In cases where I can't do that (not on my own browser/computer) - well, I acutely lose interest in the content. Close the page. And I'm fine with the whole thing - if they think they won't lose visitors (or really don't lose them), good for them. If that's because 99% of people don't know to remove it how or don't mind, good too - then I'm in such a minority that the page's authors won't find it worthwhile to defend against.
One more thing: the book icon in FF's address bar. I'm getting really used to it, it's becoming my preferred way of reading.
