But what's nearly comical is the reaction....ranging from "I worry about him being so close to pressing a button", to "the decision to elect Trump is really a choice on the future moral soul of this nation" (comment made on CNN the other night).

My very personal POV is that in a lot of countries the trend to PC / newspeak is fueling candidates and groups far off the usual fold. My worry is, after being elected and failing to be much better, PC will be strengthened - which in itself is bad in my eyes, but could pave the ground for even whackier alternative attempts.
