There are certainly more than one way to do this that would work fine:)

As far as I am concerned, I have run exactly this quite simply with a series of prg-based subclassed container objects. I have no access to the code base - which runs flawlessly - but, if memory serves me well, the container was INITialized as visible = .T. and a host of plain-vanilla method were subclassed including CLICK, DBLCLICK and a few others (MOUSEENTER, MOUSELEAVE,....). Perfectfy usable indeed on all windows versions.
