>When he has uniformed thugs beating the **** out of anybody at the rally who opposes his views.................
I notice that the police have beating protesters.
>When he advocates "purifying" the US by killing (not expelling) those who offend him by religion, race, ethnicity, etc............

>When his followers rampage through the streets to intimidate his opposition..........

>But nothing Trump has said rises to the extremes which defined Hitler not only during his time in power but in his rise to power. And I seriously doubt that Trump, even if elected, would have the power (and I doubt the desire as well) to impose the kind of totalitarian regime the Hitler comparisons bring to mind.
>
>When you invoke the name of Hitler, you invoke the extremes he represented and impute that motivation to Trump. It just ain't the same thing.
I just said some of the tactics are the same - or at least quite similar. I do NOT thing that Trump is just like Hitler - nor do I think he will, if elected, turn the country into WW2 Germany either. People did not take Hitler serious at first and it ended in disaster. People have not taken Trump seriously, and if elected it will probably end in disaster - which is to be expected from someone who spews hate speech and promotes violence.
