while this subject came up -
On the subject of finding the original instance
since it seems we cannot define out own class for windows and the title itself can change - it might be a better idea to use the API SetProp and GetProp functions (SetProp when creating the mutex and GetProp while looping through all desktop windown when trying to locate the original instnace)
