Marcia, I know you're speaking from ethical conviction but you insult a lot of people who have taken advantage of government assistance to better themselves, including my brother and myself and hundreds of thousands of GI's who took advantage of the GI bill.

I most certainly would not include veterans who have earned the benefits that they have received from the government. I was referring to people who are receiving welfare, food stamps, etc. The money would be much better spent teaching these people marketable skills so that they can get jobs and become contributing members of society.
