Does anyone know of any way I could get this database to run on my laptop - I have never found a database as useful for my needs as this one and will be sorry to lose it. Although I am comfortable using a computer I am not an expert and need replies in simple language please and thank you for reading my request.

You could create a win 7 virtual machine in windows 10 and run it there...
