Tore, because there are only two fields for the VAST majority of the work on this page that NEED to get focus, but on that VERY odd occasion when they need to be out of the normal sequence, it is silly to have them TAB thru 10 other objects on the form to get back to the starting point for the bulk of their work. I want to make it simple back and forth between lookup and payment field for the bulk of the work, BUT, when they need to get to one of the other form objects, I want them to be able to click on it, and it get the focus without them having to jump through hoops getting out of the lookup field and the payment field 'loop'.. This is why I was trying to identify a mouse click, so in the lost focus of the payment field I could say Ah! That was a mouse click, and not a lastkey 9, or a lastkey 13, and so don't go back to the lookup field. But the mouse click also gives a lastkey 13, which messes everything up...
