guessing that you left out at least a quarter-smile, the reelection stats of the US since Vietnam are not too good: exceptions are IMO only Reagan in both terms (beating Carter as to stop him from getting 2nd term in first). I am ambivalent about the Clinton elections, as I think Bush the elder was better than his public image, and on Dole I draw mostly a blank. The quality of the candidates seems to have slipped - Carter was seen as an exception, but the candidates this century make me doubt your system in the electronic age...
