Today I found a lot of active stuff in my messages.

If I put a link into a message it end's up with a plugin. I'm not realy happy that someting that I enter as h t t p ends up as a link (there are jurisdications where it is unlawfull to have a deeplink so the rule is to post the link plain text and copy'n'paste because this is no link) but I dislkie to create embedded videao as well as to see those thumbnails. UT as boring slow without it anyway.

Could it possible to turn all this active stuff of? This includes the picture preview and other no text stuff at least? Also to that the poster decides if a link should be visible embeded? Because this is not my intention if I create a message? Also not creating autolinks? I mean so that if I create a message my links will not be a tags?

It would be much more productive to have some way the enter formating tags by some interface (mark text and set as bold itlaics name it instead of enteing tags) and let text that looks like a tag remain as text then those web 2.0 playground stuff.

What comes next? Pictures linked opens up automaticly so that everybody can trace me through UT?
