Some settings are stored in the registry...

but when you say "a number of Fox installations", are you referring to the FoxPro IDE or a compile app that uses the runtime.

If IDE, do you have a license for each install?
If compiled with runtime, don't rely on foxuser and registry settings. Setup everything you need in your main.prg and/or config.fpw
