First, that last line is tasteless and beneath you. That's a Donald Trump-like remark. Even some of the court justices who intensely disagreed with him still enjoyed him as a person.

Second, I knew that Scalia paid some compliments to Kagan - and that was before she started serving as a SCOTUS judge. Her track record so far is rather embarrassing. For instance, during Hobby Lobby oral arguments, she repeatedly (and mistakenly) claimed that the statue itself mandated a birth control provision. She clearly didn't understand the difference between a statute and a regulation/mandate. If Betsey McCaughey's book on ACA is correct, Kagan came off appearing that she got her information on ACA via Democratic "talking points", not from a process of legal scholarship.

And to show just how far Kagan will go, there is her infamous doctoring of talking points from American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists research summary on partial birth abortion. Kagan is to this subject as Al Gore is to so-called man-made climate change - a dangerous political hack

And beyond that - you'll choose to bash Scalia - and yet take advantage of a quote where Scalia praised Kagan. You are aware of the credibility issue there, yes? :)
