>When you SELECT ... INTO Cursor, VFP creates temporary file on local hard drive (usually C:\Temp\). It seems that your machine stops on this point. Might it be some physical corrupiton of the hard drive?

On 4 machines? It would really be a bad luck, don't you think? We ran Scandisk every time it hangs, because Windows did not shut off properly.
