Dmitry,

First of all, I'm not sure why you consider this article to be full of facts. How do you know? Did you verify them?
You seem to be a very easy believer.

The numbers stated in this article does not make sense. The seem to be taken out of thin air (or better, the wishfull mind of an american racist). At least not for the Netherlands, which has a simular compostion of immigrants as Belgium.

We have a large turkish population and in general they are hard working people and do not cause as much problems than lets say Marrocan youth. We also have a reasonalble population of asian muslim (e.g dutch indies) which do not cause any problems here.

The problem spot is the marrocan youth... easspecially males. The problem is much more rooted in their culture than in their religion. Many young boys are not corrected for bad behaviour by their parents and will participate in street crimes and drugs. This all does not help to intergrate into any society. As a result many marrocans will have trouble to find a job, they feel being trapped between two cultures. For some its reason to radicalise and find faith in the extremism of their religion. Hundreds, if not thousands have gone to syria to fight for ISIS and come back as walking bombs.

Belgium has a very poor record for their intelligence agencies. It fails to track and hunt down the walking bombs. It also fails to do something about the marrocan problem. Again, what the american racist won't tell you as this does not have anything with the religion as their are many muslim enthnicities living in europe withouth any problems. More over there are christian groups with more or less the same criminal problems: The (netherlands) antilian. The difference between those two groups is that the marrocans can (and will) use their religion as an excuse/channel for radicalisation, while that opportunity does not exist for the first group becasue the gap between the two cultures is smaller.

The bottom line is that the challenge of europe is two fold:
- How to force immigrants to integrate into the western society.
- How to track down the terrorists that came here as immigrants or were born here from parents or grandparents who were immigrants

Beglium has proven to fail massively on both points.
Whether or not Belgium has been generous to them or not has nothing to do with it. As long as they cannot integrate, for whatever reason, it will mean trouble. Efforts need to be made to let them integrate. Its more a decision of "at what cost". Its politically very difficult to conclude that the chances of success for certain groups are too low to stop immigration, or worse, exile people.

Walter,

>If we put aside liberal vs. conservative and simply look at the facts of the article, maybe it will help to understand why Europe these days is a hotbed of terrorism.
>Some say that there is a big population of young Muslims in Europe that are given enough to live (not in luxury but to have all the necessities). Therefore they have tons of time on their hands and being brainwashed by those who hate the West and non-Muslim way of life. Hence the results.

>Here is a quote from another article on this topic:
>
>"According to the Flemish Minister for integration, Geert Bourgeois, Muslim youths should work harder and complain less. "That so many young people feel discriminated against and do not feel accepted means that our society still has a lot of work to do. It's actually an 'us-them' story. We as a society can and should still make an extra effort, but conversely, Muslim youth should do more as well. Perhaps an inverted research shows that we just think that young Muslims do not belong because they do not want to belong," Bourgeois said."
