As Craig also mentioned, I wouldn't recommend going under a quarter inch on any margin. To this day, some printers can't go that far. Actually, I think I've read that the magic number is .22 of an inch.

Also, some people like to 3-hole punch reports and put them in a binder. Not something I personally like to do - I try to only deal in electronic versions - but there are still people who prefer the printed binder content.
