>>>You are right. But I tried to install the entire VS 2015 Community two times yesterday and both times it failed (no clear explanation though). I will try to install it (VS 2015) on another Windows 7 Prof today to see if I am successful.
>>>Also, another thing was confusing. One time I tried to select which Feature of the VS 2015 Community I want to install and I didn't even see the C# feature. Perhaps the C# is a must and one does not have a choice. Mainly I wanted to skip installing the C++ and F# tools/libraries because I only use C#.
>>>But just to confirm, the VS 2015 Community does have Console Applications, right? (because online I could not verify it).
>>>Thank you.

>>Couldn't see it explicitly mentioned anywhere but I'd be very surprised if it was not the case - don't think I've seen *any* version of VS that didn't support console apps......

>Finally, after the second try, was able to install VS 2015 on the non-primary computer. What I did is selected the Custom setting and un-checked everything. And the Console Application is there. So I can start playing.

Any idea that the problem was with the options that you removed from the install ?
(Haven't used the CE because I've an MSDN sub)
