Definately interesting. I was burned by MS shifting the object model of the COM surface in applications couple of years ago - scripting in Javascript would be ok, but only as long as I am guaranteed the availability of an interface/object model for at least 6 years.

>Right now when I setup offices I install LibreOffice. I do so because it's free and does a very good job of being a complete replacement for MS Office. If the above pans out like I think it will I will have to change my thoughts.
