Those are really dated. There are many new things in the language, such as LINQ, that those don't even cover.

Keep in mind, that many times these beginner courses assume you know nothing about programming.

Also, attend the .Net user group in Boise. http://www.meetup.com/netdug/. Unfortunately, Boise Code Camp was last month.
