The money influence in big college sports turned me off a long time ago.
North Carolina and Duke are among the worst offenders but they're far from alone.
With coaches being paid several millions, the line between pro's and amateurs has just about disappeared and the pressure to win- at any cost- is intense.

I'll be rooting for Villanova because my daughter went there and, at least when she was there, it was an excellent school.
