Not wanting to create a furor- but I see significant issues with the idea that traditionally gendered toilet facilities now are controlled by self-professed gender identity without limitation. Apparently a deranged bearded person can frequent the Womens' toilets professing that his gender identity is female and you can't eject him without infringing "her" rights. Or vice versa, not that it seems as likely. My perception is that many women in particular enjoy the momentary refuge of a female-only bathroom. This may be one of those "you don't know what you've got till it's gone" scenarios.

FWIW, have you seen the Little Britain "Only Gay in the Village" skits? In typical fashion the Brits hit it on the head: something that need not excite discord can be blown up into a drama if people insist on being noticed or even celebrated for sexual orientation or anything else.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
