I had that problem for about a day, few days ago, where the whole upper toolbar would have a negative .top far enough that I couldn't see it at all, perhaps briefly before the repositioning code would kick in. It kept so for about 2-3 refreshes (F5, because I couldn't click the messages button) but then on the next automatic refresh of the toolbar it went back to normal and stayed so.

I don't remmber whether I restarted FF meanwhile, but I think the behavior righted itself without a browser restart.
