I have numerous apps running on Windows Server 2012 Standard (no virutalization) and they all work just fine. I use TSPlus for remote access from the desktop or web browser and we have no issues. I have some other clients accessing the apps from Citrix and they do not have any issues. I had to enable 32bit application support on the servers but that is all.
