First I just wanted to say "just run it and see" but then I realized I don't understand the question.

Is it "will it run"? If so, the answer is "most probably will, unless you are relying on some specific API that may be absent in a server version of Windowses".

Is it "is it running or is it stuck?" - well have it log something every dozen seconds or have some progress indicator or... well, you know those things as much as I do, and it's not related to the OS.

Is it "how can I know from inside the exe whether it's running in a server version of Windows?", I think Sergey's site has the list of all the returns from OS().
