Or just do a "set resource off".

I don't like removing the foxuser, there's too much valuable info in there. But from time to time I just open it as a table, exclusive, and delete a bunch of record types that I don't like - mostly various windows preferences or MRU lists (as they contain too many wrong paths now that I've changed disks) and then pack, set resource on. I guess there are debugger related records in there - I'd simply delete those, pack, try again.
