That simply not true. The law provides a framework for handling civil disputes. It's there to protect people from being railroaded - as was the case of the Oregon bakery and the horrible damage done to them.
I'm not going to say that the new law is absolutely perfect - but the fact that the only reaction from the feds is the usual Obama-style petulance ("if you pass this law, you're in danger of losing funding") sort of tells you that the actual ramifications of this new law are much different than the fans of Huffington Post and MSNBC would like you to believe.
