So, for all practical purposes, this is all about the length of time required to file a claim???
Hardly a headlong attack on civil liberties, is it?
Having done business in NC and SC, I can tell you that the chance of getting a discrimination claim past a good-old-boy local prosecutor or magistrate is lower than the chance of winning the lotto in those states, so on a local level the law has no practical effect.
Any progress in those states has come as the result of federal action or, more importantly civil disobedience from people who were willing to go to jail, be beaten or even die for what they believed.
I haven't seen anything even remotely like that in this case. I see people whining because they can't pee where they want.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
