Hi Michel,

looks nice - in general.

You know, best message is no message, so let's complain. Things I do not complain about are nice. ;)

The contrast of the top toolbar on hoover is very very tiny. It's hard to distinct. We grow old, a bit? Again bad contrast at all.
The right newsfeed is crowded with pictures. They give no information after some seconds, the place could be used better. I understand this cool social media thing with pictures in list, but a switch to turn it off might be great for those that like more information. Also the area where I can click to reach a message is minute compared to the space wasted for repeating pictures and a replied to b - what is visible in the tree anyway. To much noice there. I was not realy found of the 10 xxx thing too, but this ...
The top right picture is flickering with pictures. They have no use to me, but are distracting. I have UT on a secondary screen and I see this change - but it's just advertisement rubbish. It steels a lot of usable area from the page for stuff I 99% will never click or use, since it's complete out of my focus.
For that the top left area is desolated. If no message at all is present it just looks cruel. At least put the UT logo back, and make it somehow usefull sa on every web page. Normaly it's home, but this seems not a good idea here?
The centered top bar is somehow clued to the advertising, but has no logical connection to it.
The page wastes space with some fancy frame. My monitor has a plastic frame outside the visible area, this is enough. Design aka useless. Again I understand that you try to make to page more fancy, but for the ones that like to work it makes no sense. I will not notify it and if, I'm annoyed.

The controling elements are not coherent. The clickables below the message area do not fit to the words on the top bar. Some clickable stuff is underlined, some not, some in boxes.
The Audio pop up on the right panel opens, show an item Audio what does nothing. What is this good for? The other three items seems to change something, but what happens if I click audio? Same for message filter. Looks somehow doubled.

Test ended, back to normal. Flickering of advertisement is intensifying epilepsy.

Update:

Normal is much more quiet suface. Not so much distracting stylish background, clearer contrast.

For example the the background is nice the first impression, but on day to day work it's not so nice. It forces more energy to gather the real information out of the screen - and I think I will not waste to much on tertiary problems like UT.
What I found ugly on both the same way is, surprisingly, the boundary between tree and message. On both the rightmost scrollbar goes up to an unvisible boundary. The boundary is only visible rightmost but this is a screen width away.
