>>>Caveat:
>>>Paul Krugman is a Princeton economist. One of the pre-requistes Princeton lays down for its economists (Ben Bernanke is another one) is that they never admit that they were wrong. Krugman not only follows that rule- he embraces it.

>>>That said, Krugman makes some persuasive points here.

>>Yep - this goes right along with this stupid "trickle down economics" ting that the GOP seems to think is a good idea, despite it's obvious dismal failure. I think it's Bernie that stands the best chance of fixing that problem. I notice that Hilary has had to move farther to the left as time goes by in an attempt to win some votes from Bernie - but considering her Wall Street connections I doubt she'd actually do much. Cruz or whatever Republican gets the nomination would just make this problem worse - and of course no telling with Trump - but it's people like Trump that are actually part of the problem. Considering the GOP started out with 17 candidates and what we're left with is Trump and Cruz I'd say its safe to say the republicans might as well just admit they're not going to win this election no matter if it's Hilary or Sanders they're up against.

>Burnie - the hypocrite Trotskiy - said that anybody who makes more than 500,000 should be taxed at 90%. An average NBA player is making about $5 million; NFL $1.9 million (of course we know this is based on 30+ players on the team making a minimum NFL salary; majority of starters make more than 4 million). So you figure that an NFL or NBA player who makes now $5 million would want to work for less than 1 million?
>Are you ready for Monday Night Football from Cayman Islands? :).

I really wouldn't care if all pro sports went away. Its a travesty... they build billion dollar stadiums at public expense; then charge families 300-500 per game to go. What other private corporations can do the same?
